When Woods & Associates Insurance Brokers asked us to design their new company logo we were briefed of one mandatory; to use a specific colour strongly – purple, due to their affiliation to a certain WA-based AFL football club. Not a colour traditionally associated with corporate insurance, at first we were a bit hesitant. However, not ones to baulk at a challenge we reasoned that if we couldn't hide it, we'd highlight it instead and so used purple in big blocks and everywhere! The resulting brand is strong, bright and yet sophisticated differentiating them from their competitors.
The rebrand was hailed a great success. The client was very happy with the different design options we provided, all of which used a lot of purple. The outcome of the rebranding was a new, contemporary brand with a sophisticated edge. The design met and indeed exceeded the brief while feedback received by us not only from our client but also from their clients was very positive.
